The Local Offer duties were introduced through the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice 2015. Part of the Local Offer Duties require educational settings to co-operate with the development of the Local Offer.  This page tells you how Bristol City Council would like educational settings to support the development of Bristol Local Offer.

Local authorities and their partner bodies and agencies must co-operate with each other in the development and review of the Local Offer. This is essential so that the Local Offer provides a comprehensive, transparent and accessible picture of the range of services available.
