Cheddar Grove Primary School Nursery Class
About the Organisation

There are two classes of Nursery children at Cheddar Grove. They are called Willow and Cherry,

Willow class attend school from 8.45 - 11.45 every day and Cherry class attend school from 12.30 - 3.30 every day.
At the start of the school year the Nursery staff visit every family to meet children and their parents in the home setting .We find out about each child's previous experiences in playgroup or with childminders and discuss how best to support each child as they start attending the Nursery.
Each child then comes to a Welcome session at school, where they have the opportunity to meet other children and their parents .

We have been growing lots of vegatables in the school garden with Miss Bryant. We have grown onions, radishes, strawberries, potatoes, sweetcorn, peas, carrots, brocolli and courgettes. We have also grown lettuce which we made into sandwhiches. They tasted delicious!
