Good EIdea
About the Organisation

Good EIdea (Emotional Intelligence Development through the Expressive Arts) help children build positive relationships at home, at school and with friends.

Good EIdea was set up to support vulnerable children in inner city areas of Bristol who have low self esteem and social/personal difficulties. The aim is to offer them appropriate help and support through the provision of activities and other specified interventions.

Mental health issues often centre around isolation and loneliness. Good EIdea provides practical methods to help overcome these, developing life skills and building self esteem through a range of activities including music and drama. Their approach is to start accepting the children for who they are and encourage and support them to grow enthusiastically to where they want to be, in a developing friendly and supportive community.

Good EIdea also hold training sessions to train people who are willing and committed to learning and practicing Emotional Intelligence.
