Concorde Wheelchair Dancers
About the Organisation

Aims to provide wheelchair dancing.
Members meet Monday evenings at Page Community Association, Staple Hill, Bristol 19:15-21:00
Wednesday evenings at Downend Day Centre are for PHAB couples and PHAB team practice which is a mixture of disabled and able-bodied people dancing as a couple or in a team.

Committee consists of eleven people most of whom are wheelchair users. All decisions for the group have to be approved by the committee, dancers take part in festivals countrywide and dances include Waltzes, Jive, Latin American and team, not all members are able to take part in the festivals so social dancing is available. New members are actively encouraged and welcomed.

Are there costs?

Our current fee per session is £3 (a small additional fee applies for those also taking part in the PHAB team with an able-bodied partner). For the first year, membership of Page Hall social club is £12, reducing to £8 for each subsequent years. Discounts are available on all these costs for children.
