Over 50s In Barton Hill
About the Organisation

A project which exists to respond to the needs and aspirations of people over 50 in the Barton Hill Area. Various groups run for a limited time at different locations in Barton Hill throughout the year. Please phone for further information or if you would like support in setting up your own group in the Barton Hill area.

A befriending scheme in partnership with Age Concern is set up for older people in the Barton Hill area.

Please feel free to drop in to the Neighbourhood Centre office.

Programme of Activities:

Monday afternoons - 14:00 - 16:00
Local history / discussion group at the Somerville Room, Barton Hill Settlement.
Keep Fit: 13:45-14:45

Shopping bus to Asda in Bedminster and Tesco, Eastvile leaves Barton Hill Settlement at 09:30 and picks up at various locations in Barton Hill, please phone 0117 955 6971 for further information or to book a seat.

50 + U - New lunch club run by over 50's in the Barton Hill area for over 50's interested in getting involved and helping out or just wanting a sociable meal.

Ear Acupuncture: Thurs 13:00 - 16:00.

Shopping bus to Tesco, Eastville.

Somali Older Women's Lunch Club
Every other Friday 11:30 - 14:00.

Community Lunch: 12:00 - 14:00.
Trip to St Phillips Sunday Market run once a month.

Other trips organised through the year. Please phone for further information.
