About the Organisation

OAASIS provides a free information and support service for parents, teachers and other professionals with an interest in special education for children and young adults

OAASIS can help in the following areas:
Information on the diagnosis you have received about your child
The Statementing process
What special help your child should be getting in school if he/she has a Statement of SEN
Finding a local parent support group for a particular learning difficulty
Finding a suitable special school for your child if he/she cannot cope in mainstream
Providing you with a list of specialist legal teams who can support you through the Tribunal and Appeal Process

If you believe a person in your care may have special needs or you are struggling to get the answers you require, call our helpline. If we cannot help you we can point you in the right direction.
