About the Organisation
The Hartcliffe and Withywood Teenage Parents Project was founded in September 1991 a gap in provision was identified by the Youth Service, NHS, Mother's Union and St Andrew's Church. Leading them to bring about this fantastic service, specifically for young families aged 16-25, providing practical, emotional and mentoring support in the BS13 locality, raising awareness and aspiration through education and training. Since then we have supported thousands of young families in developing new skills, building confidence and self-esteem, enhancing their home-life, relationships and much more. We have supported thousands of children of young parents aged 0-4 in their educational development. The Child Contact Centre supports families who have seperated to keep positive bonds with their children.
